Firstly, we chose to transport all our goods as finished products by large container sea freight as this is the least carbon producing option. Secondly, we have partnered with the Oncra-approved Bamboo Village Programme to plant bamboo forests in deforested areas. Each year we calculate our carbon footprint and replant enough bamboo to soak up the equivalent carbon within 2 years. Bamboo provides a 3x more effective carbon sink than any other tree or grass.
